OEC supports institutional clients, introducing brokers and API developers utilizing OEC proprietary technology. OEC was acquired by optionsXpress Holdings, Inc on July 1, 2008 and is subsidiary of optionsXpress.

Penson GHCO is a registered futures commission merchant (FCM) that offers access and clearing services to clients trading in domestic markets and global exchanges.
Penson GHCO opened for business on January 2, 1985 under the name Goldenberg, Hehmeyer & Co. (GHCO) as a traditional futures and options clearing member at the Chicago Board of Trade. In 2007, Penson Worldwide, Inc. purchased the customer and clearing business of Goldenberg, Hehmeyer & Co. to form a new company, Penson GHCO
